Lilac Montecito is the next chapter for the team behind Lilac Pâtisserie, bringing their passion for thoughtful, seasonal cuisine and warm hospitality to a full-service neighborhood bistro. Working closely with our repeat clients, we created a space that builds on the charm of their downtown location—with a little more polish. As we like to joke, she’s the “sophisticated older sister.”

A deeper lilac hue, crisp white custom-paneled wainscoting, and warm brass lighting bring a fresh sense of elegance, while the black steel exhibition kitchen adds contrast and a touch of industrial edge. The result reflects the spirit of both the restaurant and its Montecito setting: refined yet relaxed, with an inviting atmosphere designed for lingering lunches, intimate dinners, and gathering with friends. Rooted in seasonal California ingredients, European culinary traditions, and a genuine sense of community, Lilac Montecito pairs thoughtful design with heartfelt hospitality.
