Yama House

A hilltop oasis on the Central Coast, this residence merges a classic California Ranch aesthetic with its Japanese style architectural influence and sits among large, beautiful boulders and coastal oaks perched high above the Pacific. MN Studio provided full service interior design services, working collaboratively with the A34 Studio and Curtis Homes. We embraced a warm, neutral palette throughout the house and utilized materials with rich texture - heavy linens, leathers, stone, aged wood, and pops of earthy contrast such as terracotta, olive greens, and rich cool coastal hues.
