Lilac Patisserie

A wonderful collaboration with two young entrepreneurs, our intent was to create a fresh bake shop to showcase their gorgeous gluten-free cakes and delectable desserts. Referencing the traditional aesthetics of French patisseries, we used a classic combination of materials; ceramic hexagonal and subway tiles, bead board, and lilac colored walls. We furnished this space using white stone tables with vintage styled bases, brasserie chairs and a custom banquette. Thrilled to uncover an original skylight, we were able to transform this previously dark and dated building into a welcoming light filled bakery.

In 2021, the Lilac Patisserie team approached us to assist in the expansion of their flagship location on State Street. We worked closely with the project team to translate the classic European vibes into the expanded dining area and incorporate new furnishings for a seamless transition between new and original spaces.

We are currently working on a new project with the Lilac Patisserie team as they move forward with a second location in Montecito.
